Midnight Blue are a five-piece blues/soul band that are based mainly in Manchester. They are a great group, but the sax adds spice to the mix. (This is not to take anything away from the sultry female vocals, the proficient guitar or tight rhythm section). Whether it be the catchy R&B of "Can't Stop Thinking About You," the inspirational "Family Tree," or the melancholy "Leap of Faith", you will have no alternative but to hit the dance floor (whether you have one or not).

The ghosts of the masters like Wilson Pickett and Otis Redding live in their music, and it is always refreshing to see a young band reviving this art form. Visit their site and check out their tracks. If you don't get hooked, you have no soul.
