By a chance meeting in May 2004, Los Angeles-based trio noise á noise was formed after singer/guitarist Alex Shahverdiloo and bassist Bruno Pittelli met each other through a musicians' classified. Eager to get started, the two quickly called on drummer Jason Jeffrey, a veteran of the hardcore scene who collaborated with Alex on a previous project. Within three months, the group recorded their first EP, "Looking Ahead".
